New beginnings
Sadly, this will be our last Arcon customer newsletter, which is sad but signifies an exciting new chapter is beginning for us all as we become one organisation with Bolton at Home on 1st April 2024.
In case you missed our last newsletter, we’d like to introduce you to the Bolton at Home website, which we'd recommend getting to know whenever you have a few minutes free. You'll find our main homepage and links to key pages at: www.boltonathome.org.uk.
From 1st April 2024, you will need to use this webpage instead of the existing Arcon one, so you may want to consider bookmarking the page.
Please bear in mind that all the ways that you currently engage with us will stay exactly the same until 1st April 2024, so there's no need for you to do anything differently right now.
Even though your landlord will have a new name (Bolton at Home Group) come 1st April 2024, the same staff from Arcon will continue to support you as they do now - just as part of a new organisation.

Arcon and Bolton at Home will become one organisation on 1st April 2024.
We want to give our tenants a wide range of meaningful opportunities to challenge and influence our services and activities, as well as scrutinise our policies.
Before 1st April we would like to ensure you can get involved in shaping the way tenants can share theirs views.
Would you like to voice your concerns, suggest improvements, and ensure housing services are accessible and meet the needs of all our customers? Are you interested in promoting better value for money and tenant and community activities near you?
If that sounds like you, please take some time to complete this short questionnaire.

Easter Bank holiday
We will close for Easter at 5pm on Thursday 28th March and will reopen on 2nd April.
Please note: During this period, we will only be dealing with emergency repairs.
From 1st April (Easter Sunday), Arcon will become part of Bolton at Home.
This means the number you should call for emergency repairs until 1st April remains the same as it is now, which is 0161 214 4120.
From 1st April, when Arcon will become part of Bolton at Home, you will need to call 01204 328 000 to report emergency repairs.
Going forward, this number will replace the existing Arcon number. This is the number you will need to use for things like:
- reporting repairs (including emergency ones),
- paying your rent or other charges,
- reporting antisocial behaviour,
- and anything else you'd usually call us for.
While the telephone number may differ, the service you receive when you call us will remain unchanged. You will be connected to whoever is best to help you with your query, which in most cases will be previous Arcon colleagues.

Arcon App
Your existing Arcon Customer App will continue to work as usual after 1st April 2024.
You can still download the app from the App Store or the Google Play Store if you haven't already.
The App lets you make rent and service charge payments, check your balance, update your contact details and ask us to do repairs - all without having to call our contact centre! Customers using the app regularly tell us it helps them stay on top of their rent payments and saves them time spent queueing on the phone.
