Building and Fire Safety
As a responsible social landlord, we make sure our buildings are safe and meet all building and fire safety regulations. Our Building and Fire Safety team works diligently to complete all safety checks and address any necessary repairs.
In 2023/24, we met all regulatory deadlines for building and fire safety. We:
- Submitted a list of our high-risk buildings to the new Building Safety Regulator.
- Registered all high-risk buildings with the London Fire Brigade.
- Completed our submission to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC).
- Registered our high-rise buildings with the Regulator of Social Housing.
- Conducted weekly safety checks on all buildings and schemes over 11 meters high.
- Allocated £400,000 to replace over 200 front entrance fire doors.
