Kate Franklin Chief Executive Officer
Kate joined Gateway in August 2021. She is an experienced transformation director and senior marketer with expertise in building customer-centred businesses. Kate has over 12 years of executive leadership experience in the housing sector with CHP, Hyde, One Housing Group, and North Herts Homes. Kate is a Non-Executive Director at Broadacres.
Jahanara Rajkoomar Director of Customer Services
Jahanara leads Customer Services Delivery, including responsive repairs and maintenance at Gateway. She has been an advocate for residents since she started to work in housing, implementing solutions that improve customer experience. Since 2009, Jahanara has worked in various social housing roles, always focused on improving the customer and community experience.
John Andrew Director of Finance, IT, and Governance
John joined Gateway in January 2024. He has over ten years of experience in social housing and has held senior finance roles at BAE Systems and Anglian Water. John began his career as a chartered accountant with KPMG in Manchester and now works to help Gateway achieve our strategic objectives and improve our communities and residents’ lives.
Governance
Gateway is also guided by a Board, Risk and Audit Committee, and a Governance and Personnel Committee. These groups include residents and people with diverse backgrounds, bringing a wide range of perspectives to Gateway’s governance.
We’re committed to being transparent, secure, and accountable. We have systems to ensure our teams work diligently, keeping residents and the Regulator of Social Housing informed of our progress and developments.
